We are suckers for quality equestrian equipment at Dapple EQ and Bombers Bits are no exception to this.

A selection of jumping and dressage approved bits are arriving in store any day, featuring different mouthpiece materials and styles; something to suit every horse (and rider).

If you're unfamiliar with these blue handcrafted beauties, allow me to elaborate a little.

Heralding from South Africa, Bombers have been developing and honing their craft for 30 years. All bits have stainless steel cheekpieces.

They feature two main mouthpiece materials in their range:

1) Sweet Iron which is warm to the touch and promotes salivation. For horses that don’t like metal mouthpieces they have the:

2) Bomber Blue, which is a unique bit which produces amazing results for the majority of horses. The mouthpiece is ported to give tongue relief and the material used allows the bit to remain light and encourages salivation. It is particularly well suited to horses that object to metal mouth pieces.
